This class for 4 and 5 year-olds, taught by Emma Schweizer is a drop-off music and movement class. Class will explore musical concepts such as tempo, dynamics, range and expression as well as basic rhythmic notation, all taught in an age-appropriate context. Classes provide opportunities for listening, singing, percussion play, discovering rhythm through creative movement, and improvisation as a means of musical expression. Kids will also learn about the instruments in the orchestra! Movement activities inspired by Dalcroze Eurhythmics. A drop-off class, but parents and caregivers are welcome to attend and observe. Maximum class size: 10 students.
